Piloté par le Captain Fuzz, OB-1, Zarkor, Rocket et le Professor Tricks, le Butterfly Bulldozer poursuit son odyssée cosmique avec un deuxième EP prévu pour le 29 mai 2026, une nouvelle étape d’un projet conceptuel né en 2021. Après le prologue racontant la genèse du vaisseau et l’union de l’équipage, Cosmic Matters marque le premier envol : le Butterfly Bulldozer quitte l’orbite d’une planète en déclin pour s’enfoncer dans l’immense inconnu.

Signé sur MOSTÄ et Howlin’ Banana Records, ce second EP affirme une identité plus définie art rock, où le psychédélisme spatial se heurte à l’urgence post-punk. Les grooves se font plus tranchants, les textures plus denses, oscillant entre dérives kraut, explosions noise et refrains hallucinés. Si l’ombre de Squid et Pond plane toujours, Butterfly Bulldozer trace désormais sa propre trajectoire, plus libre et résolument tournée vers l’avant.

Ce chapitre raconte la traversée : l’apesanteur, les pannes, les visions, et la lutte intérieure d’un équipage lancé dans le vide, fuyant un monde à bout de souffle pour rejoindre Mars Il. Un EP comme journal de bord électrique, nerveux et cosmique, annonçant la suite d’un

The next chapter in this conceptual project born in 2021 picks up from the prologue that narrates the genesis of the vessel and union of its crew. Cosmic Matters marks the first liftoff, as the Butterfly Bulldozer dashes out of the orbit of a declining planet and plunges into the unknown.

Released on MOSTÄ and Howlin’ Banana Records, this second EP asserts a clearly defined art rock identity, where space psychedelia collides with post-punk urgency. With their sharp grooves and dense textures, it’s a voyage through krautrock drifts, noise explosions, and hallucinatory choruses. While the shadow of Squid and Pond still lingers, Butterfly Bulldozer now charts its own course, unwaveringly free and forward-looking.

This chapter tells the story of a journey: weightlessness, breakdowns, visions, and the inner struggle of the five crew members cast into the void, fleeing a world on its last breath to reach Mars Il. An EP that mirrors an electric and tumultuous cosmic logbook, heralding the first steps in this journey that has only just begun.
